DIY Envelope Styling – Stamps

By Shannon - Little Flamingo | February 7, 2010

When all your invitations have been created and you are up to sticking on the stamps, don’t forget about the presentation or styling of your invitation envelope. Your envelope is the very first thing your guests will see before they open to reveal your beautiful invitation inside. Instead of seeing the latest sports player or a random tin shed on the front of your envelope take the time to pop into your post office and have a look at their latest range of stamps and choose something that will relate to your celebration or chosen colour theme.

As we are coming up to Valentine’s Day, Australia Post have released their ‘with Love’ range, a set of three beautiful stamps, perfect for a wedding celebration but you better be quick as they are only available until March.

When posting your invitations, don’t forget to take a completed invitation in its envelope with you the Post Office, as postage can change depending on  your envelope size, thickness and weight. The last thing you want is to have your invitations returned to you, or even worse, having your guests pay the additional postage to receive your invitation.
